Page One
So exciting! We got our first page of our Dossier done today, baby steps I know but one step closer. It makes it all seem more real the closer we get to compiling all this paperwork. Spoke to Wyoming Children's Society today and they mailed out our reference yesterday and on to FBI background checks. That should be a breeze since my husband is a Sheriff and I am a court clerk. We are coming baby girl!

I’m holding a $1 challenge over at www.findingkirilsfamily.blogspot.com, on the countdown to Christmas. Kiril is a little boy with significant special needs who has been waiting on Reece’s Rainbow for a long time, and has been bedridden in an institution for over 6 months now. My goal is to get as many people as possible to donate just ONE dollar to Kiril’s RR grant, and then pass this message on to just ONE other person of their choice.
ReplyDeleteI’ve contacted many people about this already, in the hopes that they will SPREAD THE WORD, EVEN IF THEY CAN’T DONATE. To date, there’s been an amazing response, but Kiril’s path home is still a long way from sure. I know it is usually against the unwritten ‘rules’ of blogging to ask an adoptive family for anything – and I can see why. But if you are part of a loving, supportive community, which might be inclined to help in spreading this message and saving this little boys life, I humbly ask that you let them know about this fundraiser. I have great faith that together, we can give Kiril hope and a future THIS Christmas. Thank you.
Isn't this exciting?! I'm so happy for your family to be bringing Alyssa home. She even looks like you guys! :-) Good luck with everything. I pray it all goes smoothly for you! We have 2 little girls waiting for us and it's all I can think about!
