Getting excited

Hard to not get excited every step of the way. Finally we are at the point of sending in our i-600a which gives us permission from the United States to adopt and then we send our paperwork and wait for the referral date to travel. This week end we are going to South Dakota, Rapid City for the District Championship for Lindsay's team Wyoming hockey. Big deal if they win they get to go to the Regional Tournament in Michigan where all the colleges do there scouting. She is really nervous. Noah is so excited to see Mt Rushmore,they have been studying the early presidents in Kindergarten and he just loves all the information about them.

Last Homestudy Visit

Last night was the last homestudy visit, what relief it is to have it done. This morning I woke up with a million ideas for fundraising in my head, funny how GOD works the day before I could not think of a thing. Now I have a few great leads. Everyone in our family is starting to get impatient with the waiting process, the kids don't understand why we can't just go get her. Well some days I feel the same. Everyday is a mixture of excitment and frustration. Especially when it is yet another document to redo again and again. But the beautiful thing is the wonderful treasure we will get at the end of the adventure. We are excited to mee you Alyssa, we love you.
